The aim of this project was to create a sequenced series of compositions using type as a metaphor to portray a specific concept or idea. Compositions would begin with phrases, and would break down to then use only sentences, words, and finally sounds. In this instance, I chose to portray the anxiety and exhaustion felt by an introvert throughout a socially-active day. As the typography becomes more and more fragmented, so does the energy of the introvert, with the larger black and red serifed voices overriding the softer, grey sans-serif whispers that represents the ideal for the introvert. In its final form, these softer voices are all but burried under the sharp pieces of the social demands of the day. Adobe Illustrator was used to compose these designs.
