Timestamp is a fictional temporary tattoo company helping individuals create their own tattoos to wear at their discretion rather than getting stuck with a permanent tattoo they may want to change a year later. The company is targeted at young adults and college students, using branding that reflects popular tattoo colors and rustic designs that appeals to this "hip" youth market. The brand was tested across multiple mediums and projects, from initial brand development to poster designs, and to the packaging and labeling itself. The Timestamp project tested brand boundaries and worked within a system that was established from the start, and kept careful track of any extensions by updating the initial brand guidelines. Displayed are the brand guidelines for Timestamp, sample business card layouts, two posters in a series advertising their custom tattoos, and the packaging used to ship custom-ordered tattoos to customers' homes. Logo conceptualization sketches are also displayed to show brand development.
